Buckles, Charles "Chuck", 35, of Key Largo on Jan. 1, 2010, He was born in Phoenix, AZ. He graduated from high school in Peoria, AZ and graduated from The Art Institute of Arizona with a degree in film editing. He lived in Iowa for a while and then came to Deerfield Beach to visit his cousin and in 2000 decided to move to the Florida Keys.
While in the Key Largo area, he worked as a salesman for six years at Largo Honda. He left there to become a salesman at Wyland Gallery and then started working with Direct TV. His last employment was with the Pilot House and he was enrolled in real estate classes. In 2002 he met his soul mate Michelle Sue Grasso and they were married on September 9, 2006. He was a huge Cleveland Browns fan and had "brown and orange" all around their home. His hobby was spending time with his family and cruising in the motor boat and watching the sunset while they munched on snacks. He built a swimming pool in their yard so they could enjoy the hot summers in comfort. He relaxed by playing African Drums and received a new set of Djembes Drums for Christmas. His favorite vacation was a second honeymoon of eight days in Jamaica.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Michelle and beloved son Christian. He was preceded in death by his father. Chuck is also survived by his mother Linda; brothers and sisters Bill buckles, Connie (Gary) Mason, Janet (Johnny) Joiner, Jenny Cooper, Patrick (Charlie) Buckles, Janice (Ray) Garcia and Angel Buckles and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 5. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to a trust for his young son Christian at Wachovia Bank.
