Key Largo

Eric Albert Wolfe, 28, of Key Largo died suddenly on October 4, 1997.  He graduated from Miami South Ridge High School in 1987. During his time at South Ridge, he played on the Varsity baseball team and pitched in the final game of the state championships in 1987. He earned his bachelors degree at the University of Florida in Statistics and was working on his Master's degree in Mathematics at Florida International University. Eric joined the Math Department Staff at Coral Shores High School in 1993. He also had his commercial fishing license and the Hogfish and Groupers are lucky he's not on the water.  Eric loved life and children and he was excited about the pending birth of his first child, Meghan. Eric devoted 110% of himself to his family, baseball, school and fishing. As a football and baseball coach at Coral Shores he always expected 110% from his players.  Eric was dearly loved and will be missed by his loving wife, Sandra, parents Sandy and Gary Wolfe of Humboldt, Iowa, brother Adam Fredrick Wolfe of Key West, maternal grandmother Delma Brensike of Madison, Wisc., mother-in-law Elizabeth McGrogan and father-in-law William McGrogan, of Spring Hill, FL, sister-in-law Susan McGrogan of Spring Hill, brothers-in-law William McGrogan of Larchmont, NY and Brian McGrogan of Spring Hill. He will be sorely missed by his best friend, Donald Dobson, and all his students and team members and friends at Coral Shores High School.
