Today, Fay Crouse Hamblen, went for a walk with her dearest friend Jesus Christ. He was leading her home but as they walked, she remembered the life she left behind. She was born in Forsyth County North Carolina and was second of fourteen children and was always proud to be a part of a large family. She grew up and went to Rollins College in Winter Park Florida where she met and married Harold Stanley Hamblen. One of Fay’s sisters, Esther was born without her left foot, so they brought her to live with them in New Jersey where she got a perfect prothesis. She was a great help to Fay who now had three Hamblen children. Benjamin Stanley, Harold Edward, and Donna Fay. Stanley’s work put him in Nova Scotia Canada, so the entire family went also. When Stanley’s mother became very ill, they brought her home with them until her death years later. Then his work sent them to the Bahamas until the business was sold. They returned to Florida and began their own business. Many years later it was sold, and we enjoyed traveling until Stanley’s death and Fay was alone. So now she is with Jesus going home.
