James Nealis, dearly loved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 8, 2024, in Duck Key, Florida.
James (Jim) was born on June 29, 1953, to Arthur and Serafina Nealis in Brooklyn, NY. He met his wife, Mary Nealis in 1971 and spent the next 53 years enjoying life, raising their four children and retiring together.

Jim had a long career in fixed income trading in New York. He loved his work and met and kept many friends throughout his life.
Jim had a lifelong love of the water. He was an avid fisherman and spent many years fishing the bays and canyons of Long Island and the waters off the Florida Keys.
An accomplished guitar player, his home and his life were at all times full of music.
Jim is survived by his wife, Mary (Curley) Nealis. Brother William (Stephanie) Nealis, Children; Sarah (Dave) Bernstein, Michael (Blair) Nealis, Daniel (Kristina) Nealis, and Kevin Nealis. Grandchildren, Hannah, Amelia, Dylan, and Henry. And too many friends and relatives to count.
Services in New York will be announced in the coming days. A funeral service will be performed at St. Michael the Archangel in Hudson, Florida on June 27th at 11:00am.
