Joseph Morris Hall Jr., of Key Largo, Florida, passed away on August 14, 2025.
He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth, generosity, and love for life touched all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Devi Hall, and their two children, Asha and Ajay, who were the greatest joys of his life. He also leaves behind his parents, Joseph and Patsy Hall; his sisters, Shawna (Scott) Norman and Diana (Jason) McCune-Cowan; his niece and nephews, Gabby Williams, Cheyne Norman, and Michael McCune; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Joe found his true calling on the water when he began his career as a mate aboard the Sailors Choice Party Fishing Boat. His dedication and passion led him to earn his Captain’s license, and eventually he became the proud owner of Sailors Choice. Through hard work and vision, he expanded his business and opened Angler's Choice, building not only a livelihood but also a legacy within the Key Largo community.
Along this journey, Joe met his soulmate, Devi. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with adventure and love, raising their children while exploring the waters and building countless memories.
Joe’s heart was as vast as the sea—he was always willing to lend a hand, whether rescuing a sinking vessel, helping a turtle in distress, or simply guiding someone to catch their very first fish.
Known for his laughter, storytelling, and open-hearted spirit, Joe turned customers into lifelong friends. His light touched many lives, and while it has dimmed far too soon, his legacy of kindness, adventure, and service will live on.
