Karen Ann Hill

August 20, 1951 — September 17, 2025

Key Largo

Karen A Hill passed away in her winter home in Key Largo after a prolonged illness. She was born in Boston and raised in Falmouth, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Rose Aucoin, and grandsons Baily and Ryan Meleady. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Allen Hill, her brother Thomas Aucoin, her sister Dale Swett, daughters Lynn Meleady and Nancy Morris, her son Craig Hill, granddaughters Brianna Fattal, Caitlyn Morris, grandsons, Kyle Morris, Christopher Hill, CJ Hill, and great-great granddaughter Ajla Fattal. Karen lived a very full life full of sail boating, traveling, camping, girl scouts, and keeping her hands busy on many knitting, crocheting, painting, and craft projects. She was a certified clown (yes, there is a Clown School!), her favorite persona was Lucky Penny, a hobo like Red Skelton. She also was an Elf, attended Santa School, and was a member of the Scottish Clan Claus and Scottish Clan Murray. Karen was the first person to help anyone in need. She loved purple and loved Manatees. She was a caregiver for over 25 years for Kelly Spinney until Kelly passed away. She loved helping kids and was a school bus driver for over 28 years. She will be missed by her family and many friends she has made over the years. She wanted her friends not to be sad at her passing, but to remember the fun times they had together with her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Key Largo, and another celebration of life will be held in Salem, NH.
