Biography
Nettie Dowmond, 74, of Key Largo died at Baptist Hospital on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Beloved wife of "Sarge". She was born in Logan, West Virginia and relocated to Chicago before moving to the Keys 30 years ago. She worked as a waitress at Howard Johnsons in Islamorada and as a cook at Mariners Hospital. She was the Eucharistic Minister at San Pedro Catholic Church as well as a cherished member and volunteer. She was very active member within her community. Nettie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ron and four (4) children, eight (8) grandchildren; three (3) great grand children and five (5) sisters. A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 10:00 Am at San Pedro Catholic Church. Celebration of Life following the Mass
