Patrick Vernon Grant, 58, passed away in Key Largo, Florida on April 14, 2026. Born on February 9, 1968, In Patterson, California. Patrick lived life boldly, independently, and always on his own terms. He will be remembered as an intelligent, adventurous, and deeply passionate man whose presence left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him.

Patrick proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years before continuing his career through government contract work until his retirement. A highly educated and driven individual, he earned a master’s degree in Sports Medicine and carried a lifelong passion for learning, health, and the outdoors.

Patrick found joy in adventure and freedom. He loved scuba diving, riding his motorcycle, and spending time outdoors whenever possible. He especially cherished his beloved dogs, Elle and Taz, who preceded him in death and held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his brother, Greg Grant; his niece, Morgan Grant; his sister, Kelly Whitney; and his nephew, Austin Whitney. Patrick’s family and friends will remember him for his sharp mind, strong spirit, independence, and unwavering determination to live life exactly as he chose.

A memorial service celebrating Patrick’s life will be announced later and is expected to take place in Key Largo sometime this year.

Patrick will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
