Richard Mccomb

Another angel gained his wings on Thursday, November 17, 2022.  Richard C. McComb joined his wife, Billie Jo, in eternal rest, peace and comfort.  He was a resident of Silver Shores in Key Largo for twenty-one years and was inseparable from Billie Jo, who preceded him in death on August 24, 2022.  Richard was a Navy Veteran, enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, and weightlifting.  He competed for the American Drug Free Powerlifting Association, attending Nationals in 1988 and setting four National records, which are still untouched today.  Following a cancer diagnosis in 2001, he was given 6 months to get his affairs in order.  He fought hard and won the battle – enjoying every day for an additional 20 years!  He and Billie Jo’s ashes will be spread together in the mountains of Colorado in the near future.
