Richard Douglas-Lee Smith, age 39, of Tavernier, FL, passed away suddenly from a motorcycle accident on July 26, 2016. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on April 26, 1977. He received his bachelor in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University in Miami, FL. He has been a resident of Tavernier, FL for the past 5 years, and is the Executive Chef for the Playa Largo Resort. He loved to ride his motorcycle.
He is survived by his parents, Vivian and Relda Smith; daughters Haili and Brooke; sister Paula and brother Khriesean; aunts, uncles, cousins, host of friends and co-workers.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 12:00 noon, at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home, 101640 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037.
