Sharilyn B. Willis, 71, went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2026, at her home in Key

Largo, Florida. Born in Houston, Texas, on November 23, 1954, she was the beloved daughter of the

late Gladys Carrol and Edward Muskiet.

Sharilyn’s vibrant spirit was known and felt by everyone who crossed her path. She had an

unwavering devotion to family, loved deeply, without condition, always ensuring that those around

her felt accepted, supported, and valued. Sharilyn’s husband, children, identical twin, and family

were the center of her world, and the love she gave so freely will remain the greatest part of her

legacy.

On July 23, 1971, she married the love of her life, Anthony Willis, a Vietnam veteran. In a

beautiful testament to their lifelong bond, Sharilyn and her identical twin sister, Marilyn, were

married on the very same day. Together, Sharilyn and Anthony shared over 55 beautiful years of

marriage, building a legacy of devotion and family that will endure for generations.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony Willis; her loving children, son Johnny Willis and

his wife Danielle, and daughter Heather Martin and her husband Christian. Sharilyn was the proud

grandmother of Jessie Sims, Caleb Martin, Sydney Willis, Regan Martin, and Jax Willis; and the

great-grandmother of Hayden Hughes. She also leaves behind her cherished twin sister, Marilyn

Higgins and her husband Joe; her sister, Belinda Bruce; her nieces and nephews, Kennetha Kleimann,

Kenlina Morales, Little Eddie Jr. Muskiet, Norman, Wesley, and Leslie Shillings; and a large

community of extended family and dear friends who will miss her light every day.

Sharilyn was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Gladys and Edward; her brothers, Eddie Muskiet

and Jake Muskiet; and her sister, Yvonne.

A celebration of Sharilyn's life and spirit will be announced at a later date.
