William Graham "Bill" Carrico passed away on  December 13, 2022 , at the age of 81.  He is predeceased by his wife Joan and his parents Lawrence and Marion Carrico.  He is survived by his brothers Lawrence & wife Susan, Robert & wife Patricia, and his nephew Sean Carrico & wife Patricia.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1941, and he has lived in Southeastern Michigan, Ft. Lauderdale, Hudson, and Islamorada, Florida, and New York City.

Bill earned an accounting degree from the University of Detroit and became a Certified Public Accountant.  With his financial, analytical, and management skills, combined with a strong work ethic, he was well respected by all, and any company that was fortunate enough to have their financial statements prepared by Bill, or anyone who had him prepare their tax return, knew that they would be done correctly.  Also, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971.

It was Bill’s caring for others, along with his keen sense of humor, that were most evident, and this was seen in how he interacted with family and friends and with his employees, and in how lovingly he cared for his two Yorkshire Terriers, Liam and Patsy.  He was always interested in the lives of those with whom he interacted, and never hesitant to share his knowledge and skills and offer advice to those who needed it.  His caring ways were probably most evident by his dedication, caregiving, and total devotion to his late wife, Joan, who battled cancer for 11 years.  He did all he could to make her life as comfortable as possible.

His independence and strong self-determination, combined with an unwavering faith in God, has gotten him through many of life’s struggles and has served as an inspiration to others.  We have all learned much from Bill, we love him, and we will miss him.
