Wilma Jean Pyland-Carner

Wilma Jean Carner, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home in Tavernier, Florida, on May 22, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on September 24, 1929, Wilma lived a vibrant life full of warmth, love, and cherished memories.

Known for her loving spirit, Wilma was an integral part of her family’s life. She was a dedicated mom, granny, and mimi, nurturing those around her with affection and kindness. She took great pleasure in sharing stories from her childhood, bringing joy and laughter to her family as they gathered to hear tales from yesteryear.

Wilma had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She found joy in her daily activities, particularly in working out in her yard, where she enjoyed staying busy and connected to nature. Her home was a source of happiness, brimming with love and laughter, and it stood as a reflection of her nurturing personality.

Wilma's commitment to her family was unwavering. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished each moment spent with them. They brought immense joy to her life, and she relished every opportunity to be a part of their stories and adventures.

Her passing is felt deeply by all who knew and loved her. Wilma's legacy of love and kindness will forever endure in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on May 28, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home, located at 101640 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037. A burial service will follow the next day, on May 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn South Cemetery, 11655 SW 117th Ave Miami FL 33186.
